For over a decade, I honed the art of human potential as a corporate Learning & Development leader for various industries and fortuned companies. During Covid pandemic, a decision was made. It was time to redirect my expertise in training & development back toward the art of hair. This time around I wanted to make an impact in the hair wellness space.

As a Milbon trained scalp technician and K18 inaugural cohort certified stylist, I bring a practitioner's rigor to every appointment. Whether developing talent in the boardroom or restoring health to hair in the treatment room —above all I am a life long learner at heart. We are not trying to duplicate what anyone has done for you but we are looking to be as good or better at making you and your hair feel its best while in Well Now's care. Well Now Hair & Scalp Studio is a science-based sanctuary for all textures.
What new guests WILL or WON'T experience
You WON'T have to drive from OC up the 405 to find someone who understands your hair type.
You WILL find convenience without compromising quality if you're local. If you are not local to OC then you WILL drive to find me. Or you will book a book a private session at your location. But first you WILL complete a consult to ensure it is worth your coins, time and efforts.
​When you say you have 'curly hair' and I know you mean 2B beach waves, don't think "does she only know how to handle 4C hair"?
You WON'T have to worry about any misunderstanding the differences between patterns, porosity, density, and curl typing.
Will a silk press, keratin, or frizz pro smoothing treatment ruin my natural curl pattern?
No you WON'T have to be concerned about ruining natural hair curl, pattern or anything else that could be damaged, threatened or lost. We will always prioritize structural integrity over a quick aesthetic fix. If a service cannot be safely performed; we will not proceed with the service.
Does she know how to color or chemically treat hair without overprocessing it?
You WON'T sacrifice health or quality for any reason. Only treatment and care administered that preserves the hair's internal bonds. We utilize K18 biomimetic science principles and only proven products to prevent, repair and reverse chemical or heat damage at the molecular level.
Will I be charged an excessive, unexpected textured/dense/coarse hair fee at the end of my service?
You WILL receive clear, transparent pricing based on time, product usage, and the specific service. Never punitive fees for your genetics.
Will I feel out of place in this hair and scalp studio?
You WON'T if you enjoy a private, welcoming, culturally competent environment. You should enjoy coming to Well Now studio where you anticipate sitting in the chair and letting your hair exhale!
